- Scooters and Mobility ACT began as Southern Electric Scooters P/L in 1992 and is widely regarded as the original scooter specialist in the ACT and surrounds.
Scooters & Mobility ACT offers a wide variety of tried and proven products to the mobility and disability industries. This includes mobility scooters, power chairs, stair lifts and platforms, lift chairs, beds and patient handing equipment and a wide range of daily living aids including manual wheelchairs, rollators, walking sticks etc.
Scooters & Mobility ACT offers the full range of warranty and repair services and stocks popular accessories, spare parts, tyres and batteries.
Whilst Scooters & Mobility ACT maintains a fully equipped workshop and is well stocked with leading products, its speciality is obligation free home demonstrations and assessments. This is on the basis that many people with mobility issues are unable to be active shoppers.
Cliff is the businesses Managing Director and has strong ties to the community sector, having worked or volunteered in several senior or disability focused organisations. This has influenced the development of his business model.
Scooters & Mobility ACT is a registered NDIS service provider and proudly supports the work of TAD(ACT), Technical Aid for the Disabled in the ACT.
